Win Percy is known throughout the racing world for his remarkable natural talent as a driver, his determination on the track, his sense of fair play and his many international successes.
He is renowned for his close association with the late Tom Walkinshaw, TWR, winning the Spa 24 Hour race twice, taking victory at Bathurst 1990 in the TWR Holden which was part of the new team he had founded - and for surviving the horrendous 240 mph crash in the middle of the night at Le Mans in 1987.
His life has not been easy, with a number of tragedies leaving deep scars. His only son, Matthew, was killed in a road accident, and most people know that Win became paraplegic following a botched back operation.
That hasn't stopped him living an active life though, and this book gives the reader a true appreciation of what it takes to succeed at this level, and come out of an ultra competitive career as well liked and respected as he is by fans, teams and manufacturers.
